Materials required:
Rollers

Jack pin

Comb

Hair gel

Hair drier

Process of roller setting:

First of all, comb the hair and part it into two sections. Further divide the hair into smaller sections and clip them with jack pin. Leave 1-1/2 inches from the root and apply gel on the hair. Make sure that the gel is not applied either too thin or thick. Now start to roll the hair on the roller. According to your hair cut; if its straight cut then in fold the hair and if its step cut then out fold it and roll the hair. Then roll the hair. Likewise, roll all the sections and blow it dry for 10-15 minutes, covering it with the thin scarf and leave for some time. Then slowly open a roller to see If the curl is set or not. If done you can remove all the rollers but if not then again put it there for more 10-15 minutes. Removing the rollers should start from where the rolling had been started. Remove it gently so that the curls won't get damaged.

Secrets For Beautiful Skin

Your skin expresses your health. A glowing, flushed skin resembles health and a dull, rough and dry skin means you are not healthy. For a healthy glowing skin, only outer care is not sufficient.

Here are some tips which help to maintain both the inner and outer health for the skin.

1. Drink plenty of water: At least 8 glasses of water should be consumed daily. This moisturizes the skin from inside out.

2. Eat healthy foods: Foods determine the health so don’t ever neglect your feeding habit.

• Add a lot of raw foods to your diet and avoid junk foods.
• Stay away from spicy and greasy foods.
• Cut off soft drinks from your daily routine and replenish with water.
• Eat different fruits of different colors. Choose deep colored fruits.
• Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and yellow fruits.

3. Cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin daily:

Cleansing: Cleansing removes the accumulated dirt on your skin.
It is the best way to deep cleaning and restoring the essential oils of the skin. It removes all the impurities involving make-up and dirt and oil.

Toning: Toner is used after cleansing. It penetrates the skin and removes the remaining dirt that a cleanser leaves. Toner is best suited for normal and dry skin.
If you have oily skin, opt for astringent rather than toner. The difference between a toner and astringent is that an astringent contains alcohol but a toner does not. Astringent is designed usually for oily skin to fight acne and control oil.

Moisturizing: Moisturize your skin after the use of toner or astringent. Skin needs moisturizing for it to be healthy and glowing.
Not only dry skin but also the oily skin needs to be moisturized. Those with oily skin should opt for oil free moisturizer.

4. Exfoliate: Scrub your face to exfoliate. Scrubbing removes dead skin cells revealing new and healthy skin to give a healthier glow. Use gentle scrubs for daily use and get soft, glowing and blemish free skin.

5. Use sunscreen: Make sunscreen your best friend. Apply sunscreen 30 minutes prior to stepping on the sun. Take a bottle of sunscreen always with you so you could reapply it after every 3 hours.
If you are taking a sun bath or swimming, then use the water resistant sunscreen.

Use sunscreens having SPF more than 20. While applying sunscreen, do not rub it on the skin rather dab it and make sure the layer is not so thin. A thick layer of sunscreen should be applied to get the best result and maximum protection.

6. Nutrition for beautiful skin: The use of cosmetics only make you outward beauty, but if you pay some attention to the food you consume, your skin reveals a healthy glow and you will be beautiful from inside out.

Vitamin A: Also known as retinol is useful in improving vision and for healthy hair and skin. It also helps in regeneration. Dark green leafy vegetables and yellow fruits like spinach, broccoli, mango, turnip etc. are the sources of Vitamin A.
Vitamin C: Acts as antioxidant. Antioxidant helps to fight the free radicals which are the main reasons for aging. It also provides protection against the harmful rays of sun. Vitamin C can be obtained from the citrus fruits, rose hips, Indian gooseberry, broccoli, papaya, green chili pepper, guava etc.

How to maintain healthy beautiful hair

Hair is one of the most important parts of your beauty. The greater your hair, the more beautiful you are. Hair needs daily care in order to maintain its luster, texture and shine.

Here are some tips to make your hair beautiful and maintain it.

• Wash your hair regularly: During the daily activities, your hair is prone to dust and dirt, sun damage, oil or dryness, so to combat these challenges you need to remove them every day. But for this, you should use gentle/mild shampoo according to your hair type.

If you have normal hair then you may shampoo every other day. In case there is a long gap between your shampoos, the oil, dust and dirt clog the pores of your scalp resulting in unhealthy, dull hair.

• After shampooing, use conditioner (according to the hair type) to maintain your hairs’ softness, luster and smoothness. For oily hair use light and clear conditioner and for dry, rough hair opt for dense, thick conditioner for the proper moisturization and shiny hair.

• When it comes to drying the wet hair, be careful because the hair is weakest when it’s wet. Just blot the moisture out, do not tug the hair. Wet hair is most likely to break.

If you are going to blow dry, make sure not to keep the drier at one place for more than a few seconds. Frequently move the drier and do not completely dry the hair with blow drier; stop its use when the hair is somehow damp. The distance between the drier and the hair must be maintained at least 6-7 inches.

• Deeply cleanse the hair once in a week.

• You may also use natural conditioners like henna and egg. Beer and curd can be used for deep conditioning.

• Oil massage the hair every week; for dry, rough hair oil massage for 2-3 times a week.

• Use vitamin E along with the oil. Vitamin E improves blood circulation of the scalp and gives shiny, strong hair. It also helps in hair growth.

• Do not overuse the straightening or the curling iron on your hair as it may result to dry and brittle hair. Hair fall due to breakage, split ends, and weightlessness are other disadvantages of using them on a daily basis.

• Eat properly to get healthy beautiful hair. Foods like green leafy vegetables, fish, chicken, olive oil, avocado, milk and milk products etc. help to keep hair healthy and strong.

Smoky eye make-up

Smoky eyes are in fashion these days. Every girl wants sexy smoky eyes like those of Keira Knightly. This is not a difficult task to make your eyes smoky but obviously you need some practice before you really start on this. It’s no more than blending different eye shadows into one and creating a fascinatingly smoky effect.

Here are some tips of how to create smoky eyes.

• First all prepare your eyes for the smoky makeup. Apply the foundation and then use concealer to hide the dark line around the eyes. Do not rub the concealer; just pat it until it fades. Then apply powder.

• Use eye base so that the eye shadow stays longer and doesn’t accumulate on the crease line.

• Then apply black eye liner on both the upper and lower eyelids and smudge it with the finger tips.

• Again, with the eye shadow brush smudge the black liner. (Eye shadow must be of dark color like black, dark green, emerald or khaki green. For a different look you can also blend pink and black.) Work out in such a way that the eye shadow is lighter as is goes to the inner corner and darker and thicker as it moves to the outer corner. You can mix different shades to bring out new and sexy looks.

• Extend the eye shadow up to the crease line. Likewise smudge the lower lids’ liner too but it needs to be thinner in comparison to the upper one.

• Apply silver eye shadow from the eye ball to brow bone. Use it on the inner corner of the eye too.

• Now, compile the smoky eyes with nude lips. While choosing the lip color make sure that it is 2 shades brighter or darker than the skin color. (If the face color and lip color matches then you‘ll look lipless so choose a bit lighter or darker than your facial color.)
